What should your clients know about you?
I know firsthand the intense emotions of divorce with young children, a business, and significant properties. We completed our divorce in the 91 days of Colorado mandates. If I did it so can you!
I’m convinced we can’t keep letting broken families suffer through a broken system; by working diligently to help clients through disclosures and settlement offers, we do the very best we can to help our clients through their legal matters in the most time-efficient and cost-effective way possible.
What do you enjoy most about working at Divorce In Colorado?
I enjoy the tribe we’re building to serve others. With friendships and working relationships extending from 42 years to 2 years, having such a fantastic work “family” makes helping others through an often difficult time more manageable.
What do you believe to be the most important skill in your work?
As a business owner, my ability to lead and mentor is most important. Our tribe has a clear understanding of our mission to serve others and how we can best help our clients in the most cost-effective and time-efficient way possible.
As the attorney & mediator, my communication skills are the most important. Knowing how to speak with clients and opposing parties can make difficult conversations easier, progress faster, and more comprehensive agreements better.
What is the best advice you can give someone getting Divorced?
Get out together – then move on. When you cannot separate the emotional toll of divorce from the logistics of dividing assets and debts and determining a parenting plan that is best for the children, you will save money and time and come out of the divorce with better agreements, finality, and closure. Get In ~ Get Out ~ Get Over It.

Stay true to who you are, be realistic and fair and hold on to a few positive memories of your marriage through the process.
Our work begins with you, your story, and how we can best serve you through your Divorce and Family Law matters. Understanding what you want, need, and expect from your attorney & staff is the first and crucial step.
After learning about you, your family, and your plans, we will take time to legally advise you and help you to understand the legal process ahead of you.
Our vision and mission is to change the way couples divorce - stay at the table and out of the courthouse- Because of the time and effort we put into gathering all the information needed to help you know your options, positions, and planning solid strategies and time lines we work hard to prepare for success in advance or limit the issues the best we can to litigate.
Once we are equipped with your desired outcomes and have all your disclosures and information, the hard work begins. We work on drafting comprehensive agreements and negotiating the settlement. If we cannot find a resolution with your spouse and their attorney without third parties, we will set the matter for mediation and prepare for a hearing as soon as possible.
Achieve is defined as reaching or attaining the desired objective, level, or result by effort, skill, or courage. We will do everything we possibly can to get you through your legal issues in the most time-efficient and cost-effective way possible.
